New business paradigms highlighted at the Business Transformation Summit

By Link to Leaders on 27 June 2017http://linktoleaders.com/novos-paradigmas-negocios-destaque-no-business-transformation-summit/Gerd Leonhard, Future Strategist and CEO of The Future Agency, Manuela Veloso, Head of The Machine Learning Department @ Carnegie Mellon University and Laura Overton, founder and CEO of Towards Maturity, are some of the speakers who will be present at the event on 17 October.The 2nd edition of the Business Transformation Summit will take place on 17 October 2017 at the Lagoas Park Congress Centre with the aim of discussing the profound changes that have occurred in business models, accelerated by digital transformation in business and society.The Business Transformation Summit 2017 is organized by GEGOC, an international company that is a leader in job training and the event will target all companies that wish to be on the cutting edge in their business sector and differentiate themselves in a world that is in constant mutation and seeing unprecedented growth in new business models and emerging technologies that are important to understand and follow.Various topics will be discussed over the course of the event, such as the future in a world of exponential technologies, the impact of artificial intelligence, the interaction between man and machine, machine learning and how all these innovative processes are causing profound changes in the world of work and in learning methods, bringing new challenges, but also opportunities.The following international speakers will be present:
  • Gerd Leonhard (Future Strategist and CEO of The Future Agency) – “Towards Exponential Growth – Anticipating the future in a world of exponential technologies”;
  • Manuela Veloso (Head of The Machine Learning Department @ Carnegie Mellon University, USA/Co-Founder of RoboCup) – “Human IA Interaction – How Interaction with Artificial Intelligence Will Impact the Future”;
  • Laura Overton (Founder and CEO of Towards Maturity; Professor at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the Learning and Performance Institute, UK) – “Learning Transformation in the Changing World of Work – Impacting People and Organizations through Innovation in Learning.”
There will also be two more Transformation LABS with the aim of exploring the more practical aspect of the topics and exploring them more in depth: LAB#4 on Augment Your Reality held by Luís Martins, head of marketing @ IT People Innovation, regarding the topic of augmented reality and how we interact with it within a business and leisure context; and LAB#5 regarding Standard 70:20:10 – Leveraging performance and using 100% of your potential, by Alberto Rendo, head of human resources at Ikea Industry Paços de Ferreira, in which real cases of implementing standard 70:20:10 will be presented.More information on the Business Transformation Summit 2017, its agenda and speakers can be found here.
